Kathy Williams

Kathy Williams became intrigued with photography while living in California in the early 1970's. Fascinated by the artistic style of Georgia O'Keefe and the photographs of Edward Weston and Ansel Adams, she purchased her first 35mm Minolta film camera at age 22. Over the next 20 years she sought to improve her skills with the help of a sturdy tripod and generous professional mentors. Her focus was capturing the compelling shapes, form and light of her subjects. Kathy made the exciting transition to digital photography in 2005. Her full-time career in photography started soon afterward when she met her husband, professional photographer Don Paulson. Together they travel the world in search of unique images that showcase the captivating and breathtaking beauty of our planet.
